    Our evaluation process is designed to assess your horse's behavior, temperament, and current training level comprehensively. We will conduct a thorough assessment and provide you with invaluable insights to kickstart your horse's training journey.

    $600 per week

  • Travel Training

    This option consist of the trainer coming directly to your property, providing hands-on guidance and support in the familiar environment of your horse's home. With our travel training services, you can enjoy the peace of mind that comes from knowing your horse is receiving personalized attention and professional care right where they're most comfortable.

    By working with your horse on-site, our trainers can address specific challenges unique to your property, such as environmental factors or behavioral issues that may arise in familiar surroundings. This personalized approach ensures optimal results and a smoother transition for your horse throughout the training process.

    (Limitations do apply. This option is up to trainer discretion)

    $100 per hour + mileage fee

    Weekend sessions will be normal rate plus as additional $50 fee when available.

  • Training by the Month

    With our month-long training packages, your horse will benefit from a structured and consistent work schedule, ensuring steady progress and development. These packages are based on 30 day time frames.

  • At McElroy Horsemanship, there are some scenarios that do call for minimum time requirement .

    • Our colt starting program sets the stage for a lifetime of success for your young horse. With a minimum commitment of 90 days, we ensure thorough and comprehensive training that establishes a solid foundation for future endeavors.

    • For horses presenting dangerous tendencies under saddle or on the ground, our evaluation process is essential. This evaluation helps us determine if our program is the right fit and ensures the safety and well-being of both horse and handler.

    • Feral horses entering the program, or those not halter broke, will require a minimum of 120 days. When it comes to taming those horses fearful of handling, it is of utmost importance to not rush the process to keep everyone and your animal as safe as possible.
